Distribution transformers
The whole designspace. One run.
Ecitron evaluates every manufacturable design against your constraints and your material prices, and hands back the ones worth quoting.
01 — The space
Millions ofcombinations.
Core section, conductor, layer arrangement, cooling duct. Change one and the others move. Worked by hand, you get to try three or four before the quotation is due.
02 — The result
One of them isthe one you quote.
Every candidate costed and evaluated in the same pass. What comes back is the frontier: the designs where you cannot buy less loss without paying for it.
03 — The engine
Written by atransformer maker.
Twenty-five years of designing and building distribution transformers, rewritten as software. Checked against measured test results — mass, resistance, loss, impedance — unit by unit. Where the model and the factory disagree, the model gets corrected.
Ecitron supports engineering judgement. It does not replace independent verification by a qualified engineer, nor the type and routine testing required before a transformer is placed in service.
04 — How it works
Constrain
Rating, voltages, vector group, loss guarantees, impedance tolerance — and the conductor sizes and core widths you actually hold in stock.
Run
The engine works through the space and streams valid designs back as it finds them.
Compare
Sort by cost, loss or impedance. Open any candidate for its full geometry, winding schedule and bill of materials.
Quote
The chosen design goes straight into the quotation, with the run on record behind it.
05 — Pricing
Priced per plant.
Every manufacturer runs a different mix of ratings, materials and volumes. Pricing is set after a short conversation, not guessed from a table.
06 — Contact
Tell us what you build.
Send the ratings and voltage classes you manufacture, and roughly how many quotations you turn around in a month. We will tell you honestly whether Ecitron is worth your time.
